Singapore’s National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre is pleased to present to you the 21st IAVE World Volunteer Conference in 2011. 21st IAVE WVC provides an excellent opportunity for non-profit leaders and decision makers in government and the corporate sectors to come together to share best practices around volunteering that changes the world. The 21st IAVE World Volunteer Conference will launch 2011 as the United Nations – designated International Year of Volunteers’ 10th anniverary (IYV +10) as well as celebrate IAVE’s 40th anniversary. It is a double bill that makes IAVE’s 21st world volunteer conference extra special and not to be missed.

The Pitch is a lively and interactive contest with a serious purpose. Up to five shortlisted participants will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges, as well as the audience, in “real-time”, at the 21st IAVE World Volunteer Conference 2011 in Singapore with the aim of winning funding for their proposed initiative/programme.
